An abundance of Old English pink roses typically found in a walled garden with a scattering of delicate white with pink edged Lace Cap Hydrangea’s, with glossy red Rosehips intermingled in the greenery.
Walled gardens often supplied many of the ingredients for medicinal purposes as well for food. The rosehip was included to ward off colds and contained vitamin c in abundance.
